I decided that our children (11 & 5) needed a little excitement with their egg hunting in the morning. So I thought we would do a scavenger hunt. Dh threw out his back so I wasn't sure if we could pull off a Easter egg hunt. Plus the almost foot of snow didn't help as I wanted the hunt to go outside. But my dh is very clever and he was able to save the say.
So the kids will see an egg on the table with a letter from E. Bunny
that says "Your mom and dad said you like to have fun, open this egg for
clue #1".
1. Could give heat but now holds the family (the woodstove that the
family picture sits on)
2. In a tiny house on the read sea (DD's doll house in the
livingroom which has red carpet)
3. Something smells fishy in this waterfall (fish filter)
4. In the Kings room at the red talking box (dh's fire scanner)
5. In the princess room behind the listen talking box (DD's tv
that has ears for speakers)
6. In the prince room the small dragon protects the next clue (DS's
pet iguana Gurt)
7. In the eating room the small firefighter protects this one (a picture
of DS dressed as a firefighter)
8. the key toward knowledge hides this clue (the keyboard)
9. Now your hotter but your going into circles (the dryer that does have
clothes in it)
10. Go where you get rained on in the house for your baskets (the shower)

Get ready to do some splainin. My kids sometimes need a little nudge with the more vague clues. This year I was tired so I went with a Willie wonka golden egg laying goose gag. (complete with bathroom humor for the 3 boys) They'll hunt around the house following just 6 clues and then to the end- I might have a problem though because I just found a clue and have no idea where it is suppose to be hidden.
