Looking for recommendations for a breakfast on Easter Sunday morning. We are leaving WDW to drive to Port Canaveral for a cruise that morning and had intended to have breakfast at captain's Grille before we left but I was unable to get a reservation. I hadn't realised they normally have a special Easter brunch that day, which we definitely don't want.

We are staying at Boardwalk villas so ideally want somewhere in that area, where we can eat and then leave straight away, rather than have to drive to another resort to eat. And preferably somewhere that offers a la carte, rather than buffet (one fo the reasons we originally wanted captain's Grille as it is the best of both worlds).

Any suggestions?

I just searched for 2 people on March 27th and it looks like the only available restaurants that fit your needs are Trattoria al Forno and Fresh Mediterranean Market. Look at the menus and pick one - quickly.

I am leaving on the same cruise Easter morning and we are also staying at the Boardwalk villas!!

I was looking for Easter breakfast too but couldn't find anything - think it's too early. I did book 1900 Park Fare for a 9am breakfast but after I thought about it I didn't want to deal with the hassle of getting there and back.
So I just booked the Trattoria al Forno on the boardwalk for a simple breakfast before we depart.

We are still going back and forth between eating in our villa (we have a 2-bedroom which we are sharing with friends) and going to Fresh at The Dolphin. I think a lot will depend on what PAT we get for the cruise - how exciting that you are on that same cruise. Have you joined the cruise group here on the DIS?
