Has anyone ever been on the cruise over Easter? We are sailing on the Magic 4/19/03. Do they do anything for the children with the Easter Bunny? I was thinking of trying to order some Easter Baskets from one of the companies that deliver to the ship, but wanted to know what activities Disney might have planned. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

Although we sail at Easter, we disembark on Sunday (we do the Wonder) so I don't know if they still do activities. But when the Magic used to sail from Fri. to Mon., they had the Easter Bunny (well, really the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland) handing out candy.
If you order an Easter basket, I highly recommend Shirley and the Perfect Gift at www.theperfectgift.cc
We've ordered many baskets from her for various occasions and have always been very pleased.

We cruised last Easter and are cruising again this Easter. The White Rabbit from Alice was on board and the ship was beautifully decorated with pinks, purples, yellows and blues. They had a church service in the Walt Disney Theatre. I am checking my Navigator from last year and the childrens Easter festivities were held in the atrium lobby where the White Rabbit was along with "Easter Fun, Face Painting, Balloons, candy and more! " This was at 11:00-12:30.

I brought those fold up gift bags and filled with treats and gifts I had hid in my luggage. They miraculously appeared in our stateroom when the kids woke up...as they always do! This year I am considering an early visit from Easter Bunny Shirley so that the treats etc. are there when we first enter...I might even have Easter Bunny Shirley leave me something!!!

By the way we are a group of 2 female adults (sisters 47,49) 1 lonely husband of 1 sister (40) and 4 girls (8,10,13 and 15)

We can't wait!!!:smooth: :Pinkbounc :smooth: :Pinkbounc :smooth:

We are on the Magic this Easter too and I am so glad to hear about the Easter Bunny being on board! That is so cool! Were those activities on Easter Sunday? I am traveling with my dh34 and my dd8 and dd5. Maybe our two 8 year olds can get together on the cruise?

Yes the activities were on Easter Sunday. They also kept the boat decorated for the remainder of the cruise. Easter Sunday night is one of the "formal" nights as well. We wound up having our Character bfst that morning too.....so we were filled with things to do! The 8 yo is my niece and it would be great if they could meet. She will also be hanging w/my 10 yo dd. I think we wrote before on another thread. Can't wait hope we have a "healthy" ship!!!:Pinkbounc :smooth: :Pinkbounc :smooth: :Pinkbounc
