Easter celebrating at Disney

We are a large family group of 13 with several small children. We will be at Disney (at ASMu) during Easter and have some questions about how the Easter bunny will visit: ie should we bring eggs/etc with us or is there anything available when we get there? Anybody with experience with this?

We were there when DD was still under one, this was 10 yrs ago.

We stayed at the WL and they had baskets for sale at the gift shop. I'm not sure how much a la carte stuff they had.

They also had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids, with pleanty of candy on the Sunday morning. Easter Mickey and Minnie made an appearance.

I'd call your hotel and see if they have anything planned, because I'm sure it varies.

AKL's activities are not shown on that page but we were there during Easter weekend and there were definitely Easter activities including, in particular, a visit by Mr. and Mrs. Bunny. There were also other activities (e.g., Ostrich egg painting) during the week beforehand. AKL did not settle on their Easter events until about a week before Easter weekend. I think that each of the resorts is on their own to set something up for their guests.

I was there last Easter and their were baskets and other holiday related souveniers for sale in the gift shops. I think the Christmas store in DTD had the best selection of Easter stuff. I was staying at the Dolphin and they had an egg hunt in the pool as well as other activities.

The link was especially helpful, though it was from last year. Hopefully they will have the new Easter events posted soon. It looks like we should come prepared to do our own thing, but check into any events that may be planned. Thanks to all for the info!
