just wondering what all you clever people have planned for your kiddos for Easter? Anyone doing baskets? When mine were smaller we brought our "bunny supplies" with us!
:cool1: :cool1:

I was wondering about this also! We will be arriving on Friday before Easter, I'm hoping to gather Easter basket goodies at our resort and the parks rather than dragging stuff from home.
Wondering if thery might even have an actual Easter type basket that I could purchase.

Back in the early 70's when MK first opened, and was the only park, my parents took myself and my brothers and sister over Easter break. We drove down from NY, and my folks brought all the Easter stuff with them... imagine how they felt when they went to unpack it (We had a Pop Up Camper where you could store things) and it had all melted! I remember mom telling us years later how much trouble they went through, to find Easter stuff nearby without letting us kids know what was going on!

I would like to know too! I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about an easter basket! Great minds think alike!:D

Well, here's my thinking so far...I am going to bring Easter cards gift bags and to be filled as baskets (they will flatten in suitcase) and then when I get to WDW, I will go about buying Disney items to fill the bags. Now my kiddos are 12 & 14 so my plan is less "Bunny" in nature.
I would love to hear some ideas from others!:Pinkbounc

Can you order baskets and have them sent to your room? We'll be there also.

You can order baskets and have them put in your rooms. You will also see Easter Baskets for sale at the various Gift Shops. Like all things Disney, they may be slightly pricy.

When we went at Easter, I bought items ahead of time. I found these great Disney lidded boxes at Big Lots, and bought one for each of the kids. I then put some Disney items in each of the boxes that I bought locally before we went, for MUCH LESS than it would have cost on site. I did add a couple of things to the boxes after arriving at the parks.

I'd like to hear moreabout delivery also! Can anyone help?

You can order baskets from Gifts of a Lifetime or Walt Disney Florists . They should both have sample baskets on their sites in the next few weeks. I'm sure if you contact them, they can give you more info. Both do a very good job, and are pretty flexible. I think that Jane at Gifts of a Lifetime could figure out how to put just about anything in a basket! HTH!
