Easter 2010 - approx cost of in-direct flights

We're on a budget for 2010 and are hoping to get flights to Orlando as cheaply as possible! To save money we will probably fly in-direct. Prices are not yet available but does anyone have a rough idea of how much we could expect to pay for 2 adults and 2 children in economy? We need to go in the Easter Hols which I know means prices will be higher than normal.

Is it realistic to hope to pay approx £500 pp for the Easter Hols or am I way off the mark?

We went last year at Easter and got flights for £360 with US Airways but I couldn't see any as cheap as that for this year. We always have to travel in the school holidays and I always book mine as soon as they are released at the 330 day mark.

Wow! That's an excellent price. If we can pay £500 pp or less then we will book it immediately. I have the 330 date marked on my calendar so I don't forget. We went direct with VA last year and really didn't think that they were worth the price we paid. This time I am determined to be more savvy.

I would want direct for £500. I know Easter 07 I paid £290+ 2,000 miles with Virgin Miles and Money, full price was £490. Easter last year I paid £410+2,000 miles, full price £590 if I remember rightly.
In-direct I would be looking for around £400pp.

We have had some bargains at Easter, don't think we've paid more than £400 but just couldn't see any for this year. I believe this year most schools in England and Wales seem to be having the two weeks off over Easter whereas last year many had different weeks and I think this may have had a bearing on the prices. Not sure about next year though. Good luck.
