I'm waiting for a quote from DU on disney cruise 7nights,

undecided on the East or West,

I know everyone is different, and some things appeal to one and not others. :thumbsup2

2 adults and 1 child who will be 5, which cruise would be the best.

Just wish the 7 nights visited Nassu, i would looove to see the Atlantis Hotel, Just a big day dream happening now!

Anyway out of the dream, over to you :thumbsup2 :cool1:

I can't answser your question about eastern or western, but i can put your mind at ease about Nassau - why would you ever want to go to a dump of a place like Nassau?....many repeat cruisers on the Wonder don't even get off in Nassau.
as for the Atlantis, it's just a big resort. Possibly nice if you're a guest there (but i wouldn't think so - too big and too many guests), but not a big deal to visit. I've been in many many much nicer hotels than the Atlantis.

And the pools and slides weren't really anything special either.

DH and I did the western cruise last year which we really enjoyed. We especially wanted to visit Key West so this was ideal for us. We went on to visit Grand Cayman and Costa Maya then Castaway Cay.
Of the ports of call we liked Grand Cayman the least - but then again we didn`t explore it too much.
You do get an extra stop on the western - some people like that extra day at sea and I`ve heard the eastern cruise is more picturesque - so it`s not an easy choice.
I wouldn`t be too disappointed about Nassau - not much there I have to agree.

Hi,

Dh and Myself have done 3 of the shorter cruises (which included Nassau). The 3rd time we did this we used the Nassau time as an extra day on the ship -as we really did not like it. It was actually a bit if a dump !

At the end of July we are doing the 7 night western - We are really looking forward to seeing the sunset @ Key west ( Any 80's film buffs who know Running scared will understand) and the other ports.

Another plus on the western is that On the Eastern in the middle of the week you have to get up early to report to customs ( Sorry I can't remember which port this happens after)

The Disney cruise is a wonderful experience - I love it and Im counting the hours till we go.

:goodvibes
