We got Toy Story FPs then staked out seats for the 11:30 Beauty and the Beast show which was great as always.

At 12 we got the bus to Wilderness Lodge for our lunch ADR at Whispering Canyon Café. I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries and smores cheesecake and Steve got the skillet sans meat and chocolate pecan pie. I’d read that there wasn’t really any antics at lunch but I beg to differ! We saw more than a few ‘large’ cokes, lots of banter, a horse race for the kids and one of the servers took a liking to my tattoos and had the whole restaurant shout “HELLO KITTY!” at me. I have to admit we were a little apprehensive about this place, especially with Steve being vegetarian, but we decided to go for it… So glad we did as it ended up being one of our favourite meals of the trip and somewhere we would absolutely revisit. After lunch we got the bus back to DHS and watched Muppets 3D, went on the Great Movie Ride, used our Toy Story FPs then watched the Magic of Animation and One Man’s Dream shows and just generally wandered round taking photos and watching the street performers/soaking up the atmosphere (DHS is my favourite park so I could probably do this all day and not even visit any rides or shows!) before driving back to CSR around 5 for a break.

At 7 we headed out again, this time to Downtown Disney to eat dinner at Wolfgang Puck Express. We both chose pizza (vegetable for me and four cheese for Steve) and for dessert I had the crème brulee and Steve had a frozen yoghurt. The food was excellent and if we hadn’t been on the DDP the total would have been nearly $40, incredible value for a CS credit! Steve wanted to go to Disney Quest so after dinner he walked up there while I did some shopping and we met up around 9:30 then drove back to CSR.
