Up, showered, breakfasted then drove to Hollywood Studios and arrived a bit after 9. Straight to Toy Story Midway Mania where we queued up for FPs first then waited in the 30 minute standby line, we’d been on this ride at California Adventure and loved it so it was fun to ride again. Next up was Rock n Roller Coaster which was another 30 minutes in line (never seen it this long in the morning before but we weren’t in a rush and 30 minutes wait is our personal limit anyway) then we grabbed FPs for Tower of Terror and headed for the 11:30 Indiana Jones show. I know some feel it’s dated but we always enjoy it, especially Steve.

After the show we got the boat to Beach Club for lunch at Beaches & Cream: Cheeseburger and a No Way Jose for me and veggie burger and a Fudge Mudslide for Steve. You can never go wrong with burgers and ice-cream so of course it was a yummy meal but I’m sad to say the desserts defeated us! Stuffed from lunch, we got the boat back to Hollywood Studios just in time to great seats for the 3pm Block Party Bash. It was a cute parade but wow I felt tired just watching it, the performers must be absolutely shattered by the time it’s over!

When the parade was finished we used our Toy Story Midway Mania and Tower of Terror FPs then left the park via the shops (but of course!) Apparently we’d recovered from the sugar rush earlier as we both bought some kind of sweet treat for later, pretty sure mine was marshmallow and M&M based! We drove back to CSR for a break and at around 6:15 we got the bus to MK and staked out a Spectromagic spot in Liberty Square. I got us some pizza from Pinnochio’s Village Haus to eat while we were waiting and 8:00 some came around. Steve had his tripod set up and once again we got some nice photos.

After Spectro we quickly walked to our chosen fireworks spot in Fantasyland. This worked out really well for us as: It was so quiet Steve could have his tripod set up without having to jostle with the masses. Probably not a spot I would recommend for those who haven’t seen Wishes from the front with the castle backdrop as you don’t get the same ‘wow factor’ for your first watch but if you have and want some great fireworks photos then give it a go.

After Wishes we slowly made our way out of MK and got the bus back to CSR for chill time then bed.
