Easiest way to prioritize tickets?

Hi dis friends. My DH has a one day complimentary park hopper in his MDE (no expiration), and also a 9-day park hopper that we just purchased for our November trip.

We want to save the comp ticket for another trip, so want to make sure the 9DPH is used at the gate.

What is the easiest way to do this?

I thought we could just link his MB to the ticket we want to use but it appears that everything gets auto linked to the same profile. (So right now the 1dph, the 9DPH, and the MB are all linked to him)

Should he make a second MDE profile, and put it in there, or can he just create a “dummy” Guest in the original MDE profile and assign it to the dummy until after our trip?

Or should we call Guest services to have them prioritize the 9DPH?

Hoping to make this as simple as possible so we don’t have to spend time at Guest services when we first get there.

I just did this at my hotel concierge, that was the easiest. You can call and do it too.

Safest is the dummy profile, but you can also ask guest services to do it. Just be sure to check after you enter the first time to make sure it was done correctly!

The foolproof way is to link the comp ticket to a fake person’s Profile in your MDX account.

Then reassign it back to anyone for a future trip.

Awesome! Stupid question- does he need to make a whole separate MDE profile? Or can he just add a random dummy friend?

Any dummy-friend, imaginary or real, is fine.

Always check at guest services once you have gone to a park. If the wrong ticket was used they can usually fix it. Our last trip they couldn't fix it completely, and so we got back the one's that were used (and shouldn't have been) and only one of the 2 days from the current ticket was marked used - so we got an extra day on the current trip without losing any non-expiring.

@Mrs~Incredible , if that comp is linked to a dummy friend, you do not have to go to Guest Relations. All they’ll see is what you see: the comp ticket is assigned to a person who isn’t even part of your traveling party.
