Easiest way to get bags from VWL & PVB for split stay?

We are staying at VFW from June 20-23 & PVB from 23-29. At this point it does not look like we will be renting a car. What is the best way to get our bags from one resort to the other? Can Bell services still move the bags for us? I have never done a split stay without a rental car before.

Thanks in advance
Jess

Just bring your bags to Bell Services and tell them which resort you want them brought to. I think they say that they will have your bags there by 4:00 pm. Once you check into the new resort, just call and see if they have your bags yet. You do have to be in the room to have Bell Services deliver the bags (unlike the Magical Express from the airport, where they will just deliver the bags directly to your room even if you are not there).

At 11 when you leave your room, have bell services give you your claim checks and transfer your luggage as PP. If you expect to have food to transfer, bag cold and non-cold items separately. Use the magic marker that you brought with you to mark the bags with your name and "keep cold". After 3 at the new resort, after you have checked out your room, call bell services for delivery.

As PP you need to be in your room at both resorts to tip as expected.

We always bring a small bag with items we might need. Medications and snacks are on the list. Bags are transferred by 4 PM. We found it easy.

It's a $6-8 cab ride between the two locations. I'd ask the concierge to call me a cab (a van will show up). Point the driver to the luggage, hop in, and arrive at the Poly less than 10 minutes later.

Yes, they are THAT close.

Will they deliver your bags at Midnight? We are doing at split stay in September and plan to transfer from AOA to Beach Club Villas, but we are going to MK during the day, and staying for MNSSHP that night, so won't get back to Beach Club til late.

Yes Bell Services is open all night.

FYI, checking in that late opens you up to getting a room that no one else wanted, just saying.

.
We are going to check in at 11 before we head to MK because we have lunch reservations at Beaches and Cream. Then we will be at MK the rest of the day and night. :) I read when bags are transfered, they sometimes don't get there until 4, and I know we won't be at the resort then.

We haven't done a split stay in about 10 years... sounds like they have made it easier! May look into it again, thanks!
