Easiest way from World Showcase to DTD?

I'd like to take the ferry if at all possible. We plan to have dinner in France, then head over to DTD. What would be the easiest (least amount of walking) way?

Take the boat from the IG to the Beach Club, and catch the bus to DTD from there.

I know, I was just pointing it out. Even people who are trying to avoid a lot of walking would often rather not stand and wait for up to 20 minutes to save less than 500 steps (and that's even if you take very small steps.)

• Walking from the boat dock at the International Gateway to the Beach Club bus stop is about 625 yards.
• Taking the boat from the boat dock at the International Gateway to the Yacht Club/Beach Club and then walking to the Beach Club bus stop is about 525 yards of walking.
  
• Taking the boat from the boat dock at the International Gateway to the Yacht Club/Beach Club and then walking to the Yacht Club bus stop is about 300 yards of walking.
