Easiest transportation to Magic Kingdom?

Which resorts offer the easiest transportation to the MK and AK if monorail resorts end up being too expensive? My 4 yr son and I will be there alone with no car and since it is our 1st time I want EASY!!! Thanks!

WL - boat trans. to MK. AK is only available via bus. Disney's bus transportation is really good. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

All the bus transportation is very good. Yes...the monorail resorts are expensive. Do your homework! Check out the value resorts...All Star..Sports.music.. I think a 4 yr. old would really like the themeing!!

we'll be taking the boat from WL to MK

after we checkout of the WL, we'll be doing EpCot & MGM from Beach Club

AK we'd need to take a bus whereever we stay

If you want a deluxe, WL would be your best choice! It's a wonderful resort. The boat rides are great!

If you are trying to save $$$ (and who isn't, these days!), don't be afraid of the mod's or values. Thought they only have buses, they're great places to stay too!

contemporary resort in my opinion is the best for mk. you can take the monorail or even walk. it is really nice at park closing when everything has a
line, to be able to just walk by everyone and be back in your room before they ever even get on a bus. i have three small kids and i don't stay anywhere else. if you stay in the standard garden wings its not as expensive as the other monorail resorts.

If the deluxes are too expensive (check out the standard rooms at AKL too - just a 5 min bus ride to the AK and a beautiful resort and great pool) then try the POFQ. The resort has a fantastic pool and is small - very easy to walk to food court, bus stop, etc. You can also walk to the POR and use their pool and food court and sit-down restaurant. The POFQ pool is so great you might never get the chance though.
