easier to do laundry at VWL or BCV?

just wondering if i should plan on laundry before we checkout of VWL or into BCV? we're staying in studios so wont have washer/dryer in our room

As you can tell from my other thread on laundry rooms, I have never used the laundry rooms at any of the Villas. However, I would think it would be nicer to do laundry while at VWL before going to BCV so that you can pack a clean suitcase. That is, if it fits into your plans. We will be at the BCV some of the same days as you, Newholidayx2. Have a great trip.

I'm on thin ice here--I know there's a laundry on the 4th floor at BCV. Are there any others?

VWL, BCV and BWV all have a single laundry room inside the hotel/villas areas. OKW and SSR have multiple laundry rooms near the leisure pools.

VWL have a laundry room on the first floor in the left wing closest toward WL. I think it's easier to do laundry there because the halls are very short, so it's closer to your room, and fewer people are using the laundry room. Both BCV and BWV are larger facilities so more people are competing for the washers. If I remember correctly, BCV has a laundry room on the first floor in the wing on the right, but I may be mixing it up with the regular hotel.

I've never seen it but it is reported that the BCV laundry room is on the 4th floor near the main elevators. If VWL is on the first floor near the common rooms, it might be more pleasant to do your laundry there and wait in the common rooms.

I'll agree that the VWL hallways are very short and the first floor laundry room is right around the corner from the elevator.
I found it very easy to do laundry there and we were there for 10 nights over Christmas. It was never busy, always a machine open, and because of the short distance, I was actually able to return to our studio instead of camping out.

We haven't used the ones at BCV, but the one at VWL was nice because it was very close to the common room that had places to sit and play checkers and relax. If the laundry wasn't quite done when we went to check, we would just wait in that area until it was ready.

If you are near the VWL laundry then do it before you leave. The BCV one is on the 4th floor near the first elevators, so not an easy trek if you are on the 1st floor and at the end. I think there are only two washers and more dryers, so they may be hard to get to.

There is a laundry facility at the quiet pool at the BC (not the BCV quiet pool) that is a lot larger, but I suspect you would have to pay to use it? Not sure.....still a walk - but at least you could use the pool while you do laundry.
