Ease person's mind regarding luggage pickup and ME

I have a feeling that one of my relatives who will be travelling with us and using ME might not be quite sold on the fact that they don't have to worry about their luggage once they check it in at the airport before departing for Orlando.

Can I get some feedback from some of you (negative or positive) regarding this? I want to ease their mind and assure them that they don't have to find their luggage on their own to make sure it gets on the bus before departing the airport for the resorts. That plus the fact that it could hold up the bus if they're trying to locate luggage.

Due to a late night arrival I chose to bring my luggage onboard ME so I can't comment on luggage delivery.

I will say that picking up my own bags was easy and quick and certainly dosen't hold up a bus. You don't have a reservation per se on a particular bus you just check in and board the next available bus for your location.

Should someone choose to transport luggage themselves its easy. Just don't use the ME tags and pick the bags up at the carosel at MCO like you always did. Then proceed to the ME counter, check in and board the bus. The ME driver will load your bags in the luggage compartment under the bus and off you go.

ME luggage delivery is a great benefit but you do have a choice as to using it or taking your luggage yourself.

eta - after reading your post again I want to mention that if you have ME deliver your luggage it does not go on your bus but is transported separately. Allow several hours before your luggage appears in your room.

If you don't want to wait for your relatives to get their bags then just head to ME yourselves and check in and get on your way. Your relatives can go to the carosel and get their luggage and meet you at the resort. They won't hold up the ME bus but if you are going to wait for them they may hold you up!!

FWIW I would not force my relatives to use a service they are not comfortable with but I would hope they wouldn't expect me to wait for them at MCO.
