I wear mine only when I do not have my Tiara on :cool1:

Okay, now that's just funny!!!!!

I don't have my own pair yet. I have a feeling once I do have them I may not take them off for quite sometime.

Do you see older people in the parks with ears on? I want to get a pair for me (40's), my DD (3) and my mom (70's) while we're there. Just thinking, would we be "odd people" if my mom & I wore them?

I have the headband type, and I love them. I bought them from AK in WDW 3 or 4 years ago, so in DL I had so many compliments and people asking me where I got them from! I felt special :goodvibes

I have the ones on the clips :) Will be wearing them tomorrow!!!!! with our shirts my friend made us with the partners statue and it all started with a mouse under...wave if you see us :)

I refuse to buy or wear them, as they refuse to embroider my nickname (which *everyone* knows me as) on the back.

I tried to get one of the Mickey popcorn ear hats embroidered with "Popcorn Monster" for my mom, but they flat out refused :confused3 They said they would only put names on there, but that was definitely not the case with other ones I saw.

Older DS & DDIL had a pair sent to me in a gift basket when we were in WDW last October for my birthday. I wore them to the Halloween Party. I can't believe that I forgot to wear them when we went to Disneyland in February! (& we went with this son and daughter-in-law! *bad mommy!*)

I will dig them out & wear them during our trip next month.

I don't think anyone would see you as odd if you wear ears in the parks - it usually gives people the idea to get some themselves!

I have ears :goodvibes - first thing I bought at WDW when I became a CM. Then when DD was born we went to the park to get her ears - they are so tiny! Will get her a new pair when we go in Oct, she is going through a hat phase and "has" to wear a hat at all times - her hair is a mess :headache:

I technically have a pair of ears as my sister had all of the guests names embroidered on ears for her wedding but have never actually worn them. I want to get either headband ones or a tiara for my solo birthday trip in June:cheer2:

The first ears that I bought were for my hubby's and mine 20th wedding anniversary. We spent 10 days at the park and we bought the Minnie wedding veil hat and my hubby had the mickey ears top hat. We wore them on our anniversary but haven't worn them since. However, they are displayed in our living room so we see them everyday.

Okay, now I am dying to know what the nickname! I am picturing something totally inappropriate if Disney refuses to embroider it on the hat!:rolleyes1
Cubbie.
Not inappropriate at all. Even more insulting is that is the "name" one of the original Mousketeers.

Disney's line is they "don't do nicknames."

I love ear hats, except I only purchase the more traditional ones. My favorite two? My first pair that I received when I was 4 years old (way back in 1964!) and my Year of a Million Dreams hat. I was so excited when we got those!

Oooh, I'm sorry. At first they refused to put my little boy's name on his ears--it wasn't until I went to a second employee and pointed out that it is my little boy's NAME and it even is on his shirt (that I had custom made for our trip) that they agreed to make the ears for him. His name is totally appropriate and not wacky at all--it just isn't a common name like John or Mike, it is an Irish name. The second employee just rolled his eyes at the behavior of the first employee and went on to tell me all sorts of crazy names he's been asked to embroider.

Ears (about 8 pairs), princess tiara, Indy or pirate hat...you name it, I've probably worn it to the park. What I wear on a given day depends on my mood and why I'm going to the park, but everything is always color coded or themed. I think it's my way of getting into the park in a "costume" without getting turned away at the gate.

The last time I wore my Minnie ears and a red shirt, little kids kept pointing at me like I was Minnie. It was cute, and totally fed my ego

I don't have any ears  But was planning on getting some my next trip. The thing I don't like about the ear hats is the chin strap. Is there any way to keep the ears on without the strap?

I'm getting my first ears today. Trying to talk the men of the group to do the same since "real men wear mouse ears"

Okay, Cubbie is one of the original Gummy Bears (don't know if that is how he spelled it) and in the 1990's, they sold Cubbie dolls at DL because my bro got one and gave it to me. One of the highlights of my life to that point, actually, so they should put that on your hat! Humph!

Absolutely every minute of every day in DLR. I have the black sequined, metallic red bowed Minnie band, which is just SO ME...I even wore it on the plane on the way down this trip! I actually forgot I had it on and couldn't figure out why people kept looking at me funny. :rotfl:

That's one of the ones I plan on getting! I almost got them last time but ended up passing since I only had $120 for food and souvies my last trip.

Always, always wear my ears! Last year when we flew down I donned them on the airplane...my mantra~ I paid my money and I don't know these people...lol...

I have 3 different one's to choose from, and depending on my mood will rotate them around daily. Love my mouse ears!!

Everyday that I am there! Now if only I could wear them around home all the time and not get strange looks :rolleyes1
