I am a stay at home mother and I do surveys for Disney gift cards to have extra for vacation. I have been looking at doing the secret shopper, but would like some advice. Does anyone on the Dis do secret shopper and if so does it pay off. Has anyone ever use ShopJobs, and if so what are your feelings on them. Just looking for some help here, don't want to get into something that will just put my info all over the net. Thanks, Dena

I do shops for Coke that pays fairly well. They pay for the sodas in advance and I only have to send one can out of the pack. Then they pay fairly decently for doing the shop. I have never made less than $40 a shop and do one almost every month.

Product Pickup is the name of the company. I don't know what other kinds of shops they have. I only do the Coke ones.

I also work Swagbucks, MyPoints, and Quick Rewards for as much cash or gift cards as I can to help with some of the costs. I run videos on Swagbucks and Quick Rewards as often as my DD will let me.

I do secret shopping to build up our family's vacation fund. I am not familiar with ShopJobs, but that doesn't mean they aren't legit. There are literally hundreds of legit mystery shopping companies (and I suspect there are thousands of non-legit ones). Volition.com is a good place to start finding companies that might work in your area. Good luck!

Hi Dena.
I'm interested in doing surveys but in the past when I tried to do them I would spend lots of time filling out info only to not be able to qualify every single time. DO you know any places I can sign up with where this would be less likely to happen? I would love to have a little extra money for our Disney trip this fall and I would be happy to do surveys.

all survey sights are a pain in the butt, i have failed out of more surveys than i will ever take. I have learned after taking a lot of surveys which ones are more likely to accept me and which ones won't. I do quickrewards.net and they are pretty good, they do disney cards, and I also do swagbucks, they don't do Disney cards, but you can get other cards or paypal which you can transfer over to your account and just pull out the cash for your trip. I also do mysurveys, and i love that one, they are easiest to do and build up points, if you don't qualify they still give you a 100 points. Mysurveys doesn't do Disney but they do a $100 visa card and a $100 american express card and you can always use a $100 gift card at Disney. It is a slow process no matter how you do it. I started on a few other sites but they were so slow in giving points or not crediting me that I stayed with them till I got $25 and then cashed out and quit using them. Sooooo, good luck and have patience. With surveys you just have to just keep chugging away.

I have mystery shopped for over 13 years and am not familiar with nor have ever heard of Shop Jobs? I am signed up with dozens if not hundreds of companies and get my shops directly through them. That said, it's possible Shop Jobs is ok to use because I obviously haven't heard of every company or job (and I sure wish I had heard of that Coke job!)

Anyway, yes you can make money (and lots or at least a fair amount) but you have to work for many different companies, stay organized, do the shops you sign up for and report on time. It does take awhile to get organized and get started and to a point where the money is flowing in at a regular pace.

Hi. Can anyone give me some links to some of the online survey companies. I would love to make some extra money from home ( especially for DISNEY!):thumbsup2 Thanks so much!

I like Marketdorce. I've been with them a couple of years. I don't make much but every little bit helps.

https://www.applymarketforce.com/

There are lots of mystery shopping companies that are legit though. I use Marketdorce the most because I like the shops and their website is easy to use.

I use Market Force as well but I barely make any money... it's mainly for a free meal.. lol. I wish that product pickup was in my area! Sounds great!

There are a number of newer companies that get paid for task on your smartphone including field agent, gigwalk Some task may include taking a picture of a display and some maybe mystery shopping.

Congrats! I love doing the Coke shops. Some goes to Disney and some goes to my sewing budget. LOL

This isn't mystery shopping, but have you signed up for Jingit.com? You watch commercials for money. Right now it is a little slow, but they supposed to be offering continuous opportunities starting soon.

Have you ever tried using beer rebates? I am not sure where you live but in NC you do not have to purchase the alcohol to use the rebate - just purchase the items listed (mostly groceries you buy anyway) on the rebate. Also, try using coupons to cut your grocery budget. Two of my favorite coupon sites are krazycouponlady.com and southernsavers.com. Also, couponingtodisney.com is a great source as well. This site does list surveys that you can do to make extra cash and great Disney tips as well. Personally, I find using coupons/watching sales ads and limiting meals out to be a the best ways to save money.

I was looking on Product Pickup's site. They dont have anything listed in my immediate area, but I was going to email them and ask if they had anything coming up in my area. The pages has *required info fields, and one of them says "company name". What would that be if individuals are the shoppers? Thanks
