Under legislation enacted in 1986, daylight saving time in the USA
ends at 2 a.m. on the last Sunday of October

That is this SUNDAY................HALLOWEEN

Also great time to change batteries in smoke alarms and CO2 alarms

nooooooooooooooooooooooooo! i'm not ready for winter.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! That's my very favorite day--I love that extra hour. And my most hated day is when they take my hour away from me.

Thanks for the reminder, monkeyboy!

Woo Hoo, I haven't changed time in 9 years, but this year I will be in WDW when it happens. AN extra hour of sleep at the AKL, how sweet is that? Of course it will be darker sooner, but that just means we are headed to better weather again!

Also, don't forget to replace the summer air in your car tires with winter air. The air currently in your tires is old and stale and needs to be replaced in order to handle the additional stress that cold weather puts on your tires.

:rotfl:

 Is my red face coming through? I had a feeling if I asked that I would feel the red coming to my face very soon.

I love when it gets darker earlier...now, if it'd only get COLDER down here...it's in the high 80's today. YUCK! :crazy2:

Thanks for the reminder. I love that extra hour.
And here in Fl we don't normally change our summer air for winter air in our tires until about early December.

Change mine the night before, Sat. when I go to bed.;) ::yes::

I hope the time change brings cooler weather to Texas!

Boy, that's for sure! Current temperature is 91 degrees with a "feels-like" temperature of 96. You know how northerners get "cabin fever" as winter seems to go on forever? I have just the opposite-can't it ever cool down?!

Yeah I'm feeling the same way here (Atlanta). Granted, it's only in the 70s but I'm ready to put away the sandals and shorts and tank tops in favor of some winter clothes!!
