early summer trip

I have always went in oct nov and dec but now ive been hired by dad to set an summer trip up, we look to be going the last week of may.

Can any one tell me if there is any huge upcoming openings i may want to be aware of (miss or make sure to see the item or show or ride?)

Can any one send me to a site for the weather forecast of may June?

I am hoping since early summer wont be 110 pulse,

we only have 3days in park but i'm happy with that. Haven't been in three years now.

Trip planed so far (as long as dad get the days off )
May 27-31st
desert inn (129 first night 109 each after it, suite to fit 4 a and one child

Mom- wanted two character meals( princess, and minnies has been chosen) and med evil times, and a tour for her and dad to holly wood (they can go we will stay in disney (may even upgrade mine , Steve's, and sons ticket for that day)(making it 4days in dl (how much for one extra day upgrade any one know?)

Have pics at plaza inn and princess gone up or still 20?
any help is as always appreciated.

Huge upcoming opening?????? Umm Carsland!!! It's set to open June (probably 6/15) with soft openings before then. Also the new Buena Vista Street entrance into DCA.

i just saw the cars land thing darn I hope its open at end may but i may speak to my dad and see should we push it back (of course to move it we lose good deal on tickets and we lose 109 a night back up to 130-140 a night so I shall have to see but thank you

my dad just told me he got the days off, he is gona have me make the calls to order everything when he gets everything he needs, but wow guess we wont see cars land, but we haven't seen anything for three years im sure i can wait another 3 years for cars land lol

Glad you get to go back. Really great of your dad.

While Carsland and the remodeled DCA opening most likely won't be open yet, you will at least get to check out what they've been up to over in that park.

And there are plenty of new to you things to do since you were last there even without Carsland. Star Tours has been completely redone. There is a new parade called Soundsational at Disneyland. There is the Little Mermaid ride at DCA. I know your family enjoys the character meals and sit-down stuff, but don't discount the counter food locations. A number of them have gotten new menus in the last couple of years. Plus, there's the new eating area in DCA with a pizza and pasta place and a place that does Greek skewers.

Weather will most likely be nice that time of year. We went Memorial Day weekend a few years ago and had a great time. Since your trip starts at the end of the weekend, you should see smaller crowds than we did. Even so, we didn't find Memorial Day crowds particularly bad.

ty. Yes we are only doing two charcter meals because my mom has never had any of them. I told my dad if im planing this i will make it good for mom. Any time she has gone she has got messed out things (in wdw i ended up paying 500 from my suveniers for our room because my dad got screwed out overtime) so he is all set to have me buy stuff now ahead time and put it away for the trip (i just told him id get disney gift cards for the food we want in the park and meals. I want to try the new haus market or something out, the German type one. I saw lots good food came out.

Welcome Back Jade!! It's nice to see you!

I think you've chosen 2 of the best character meals possible! Are you doing AG with the Princesses or for dinner for the WoC "seating"? I think you chose great dates too! Won't be super busy and like others have said, you might get that soft opening for Carsland! That would be super exciting!! Make sure you check out the new Star Tours, it's tons of fun and the LM ride is fun too, I don't like to wait more than 15 minutes or so for it but it's a fun ride, and ride Goofy's Sky Skool, it's the same ride as Mullholand Madness, just rethemed to Goofy but it's super cute. I don't know what photo prices are these days, we just take our own, but last time we purchased a photo at AG it was $30 I think, maybe $35 because we had an AP discount......and finally, to upgrade your 3 day hoppers to 4 day it is generally about $10 per person, might be worth it for that 4th day of Disney!!

for lunch i will see woc but not in place of my princess and mom is gona have good time. shes never had good time at disney something always messed her up this time my sister wont be that thing so this time i will make it good for her. TY

Here is a question for all of you. She wants to take one the tours from anihime to hollywood for one day see the theater and other things around there. Any one have good ones to point me to. As I say im trying to make the best of her time there and would hate to chose first one online when all my Dis friends have so much knowledge out there.
