Early Summer Crowds

We are thinking about a going to the DLR next summer. I know summer is a crowded time, but I would like to know when the summer crowds really pick up. When do local schools get out? Are crowds bad in the first several weeks of June? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

to be honest... it doesnt really matter if school is out or not... right now, even with school, its still pretty crowded...

the school vary from district... Some colleges get off as early as May... the range is about Mid May to End of June.

I suggest trying to go in Late May or Early June.

We have gone the last week of May first week of June for the last few years. We didn't think that it was overly crowded at that time. Of course the weekends are more crowded than the weekdays, but that is all the time I think. We just planned out non-Disney stuff for the weekends, like a beach day, stuff like that.

If you're just comparing crowds in the summer months, late May and early June seem to be the least crowded AND the best weather.

I would guess that by mid June crowds will pick up and stay high all summer.

If you can find a daily time schedule of this past May or June, you can see when DL started staying open later and offering fireworks during the week. That's the time they expected large crowds to come.
