We are heading to our first trip to Orlando in September. We are staying at Disney for 2 full weeks and want to head to IOA for WWoHP for my oldest and DH (huge HP freaks!). We'll be there 9/3-17 and our schedule is pretty flexible. What days are crowds lower? Should crowds be pretty scarce like at Disney? Any other tips and tricks would be helpful!!!!

Crowds will die down after Labor Day weekend so if you go during the week, you will be keeping the crowds to the absolute minimum. I would suggest Tuesday or Wednesday to visit but there's a good chance WWoHP will still be busy...it was last fall and I don't expect any huge drop off anytime soon.

Metro is 100% correct.

However I went on a Saturday Sept 11th weekend last year and the crowds were very manageable. Rock the Universe was going on at the Studios and crowds did pick up then drop off a bit closer to concert. The regular lines were still 30 minutes for most and 60 for water rides. Harry Potter wasn't busy! until after lunch (11 or 12). However, we tried to go back that evening and the crowds were crazy. I would suggest going during the week and going before HHN start.

And I ramble...
