hey Kathy
I finally made it home after visiting family since last Thursday.

Boy what a day for flying. My first flight was delayed almost 2 hours.

Finally made it to Atlanta and they changed my gate and concourse three times. then finally cancelled my flight. booked me on a later flight to orlando.

got to Orlando and after landing we couldn't get to the gate because of a storm and lightning. so sat on the tarmac for about 45 min before getting to deboard the plane.

so finally i am home WOO HOO!!!!

Hi Marsha,

Glad to have you back again, so sorry you had such a bad time getting back.
The power went out yesterday I think, maybe saturday and thousands of people couldn't get checked in or be scanned through security. Flights were delayed for hours!! So be thankful you wern't coming home then or you would of really had problems!! Of course people were all mad too, so it was a really bad situation.
Thank goodness we don't have to worry about flying in for our cruise huh??

Tomarrow should be really like a sauna outside, going to be 80% chance of rain and a high of 90. So glad I did errands today!!!

I made spaghetti for dinner and there is always enough for 2 days when I make it, so dinner is all planned out for tomarrow too.

I shall return!!

Good morning Marsha,

well the sun is rising and looks beautiful today.
Been up since 5 a.m.. Today is payday so if Greg gets home early today I will go out to the bank and face the heat and humidity or if he runs late I will go early tomarrow before it gets too HOT!!

My 07 cruise is now getting a whole lot of people on it. They are a very lively bunch of crazies

Hope we get someone here soon too. I am always on the look out for peoples signatures with our date on it when I read the boards. We arnt really that many months out now.

Hope you have got all rested up from your trip. You have been on the go a lot lately. Well off to do some house work before it gets too hot. I havnt been feeling 100% lately so I dont do too much at a time.

I am going to print off some pictures of my last cruise to send to my mom too. I made a copy of my trip report for her to read. She doesnt hear well, so telling her stuff on the phone is pretty useless, she will miss too much of it.

Have plans this Friday night to meet another Diser at Cape May for dinner. We met a few months ago for dinner there and had a great time. so looking forward to shrimp and ribs <G>

Howdy Marsha,

I am off early for wal mart, the bank and the post office, just as soon as they open.
We are in for another hot steamy day today, or at least it sounds like it is.
So I am going to do my errands early.

I am still trying to get some cookies baked, hope that will happen today.

I just doent seem to have enough hours in the day to get it all done,yet it seems like I havnt done anything at the end of the day.

Tomarrow the Wonder will be in port and i will watch her sail away

Howdy,
I hope your day went well. Mine was busy for a change. i got lots of errands done and then it cut loose and poured rain for quite awhile.

I fixed up a box of stuff and mailed to my mom.

I had to buy lots of new underwear and socks today. When my grandson was here he forgot a green crayon in his pants pocket and it went through the wash Yep we had lots of green polka dotted clothes. I did get a lot of it washed out with spray and wash but a few things. mostly my stuff was no use in trying.

Morning Marsha,

boy I hope the rain lets up on the coast this afternoon, I hate it when the sail away party has to be moved inside the ship. It just isn't worth going to when they do that, but they do the best they can.
Especially for first timers , they need to experience it outside!!


I will be watching it pull out tonight, do you ever watch it pull out??

I am afraid they had a wet soggy send off on the Wonder tonight. I hope they have great weather the rest of their cruise

I finally got my cookies made today. I made sugar free peanut butter cookies. They are Greg's favorite. The dogs love them too.

Greg and both dogs are asleep, all didnt sleep well last night, so snoozing now. Greg will be having a late dinner tonight, probably a sandwich.

The rain finally let up about 5:00 p.m.

well it seems the rain is gone and we are back to our hot weather again.

I need to go to the store this morning. I wanted to go earlier but I woke up late with a headache so I am moving slowly today.

Pixie chewed through her harness so I need to get her another new one, but she wont get to wear it until she is done teething . By then hopefully she will not chew the next one.

Hope your well. I worry when I dont hear much from you.
Although I know you have some busy weeks right now and are not near a computer much for now.

Good morning Marsha,
Boy we are in for a HOT one today. At least in our area they say it will feel like 105 by afternoon due to the humidity.

Guess I will not be doing anything much this weekend. That is even too hot to get in the pool.

I heard WDW raised their prices again. In the last 7 years they have almost doubled their prices. Soon the average family wont be able to afford to come anymore I think that is so sad.
I am sure the other theme parks will soon follow Disneys example.

I saw a garage sale down the street, so I think I will go see what they have this morning before it gets too hOT out there.

Greg has had some kind of a virus that has been giving him a bad headache and just feeling off for the last few days. Hope he gets over it soon.


well off to check out the boards for a few minutes before checking out the sale, I certainly dont need anything but it is fun to look anyway.

Hi Marsha,
we ar eoff to a 10:30 a.m.movie today so we can be back before it gets too HOT, of course it was 80 at 6:00 a.m. this morning so it will be hot no matter when we go out today.
I have been hibernating all day in the heat, even too HOT to get in the pool.

sorry i havent responded and even right now i dont have time right now to even read the thread.
my mother fell on wed morning and was severly brain damaged/trauma. she will not recover. so i am in augusta without computer access for the most part. i am staying at the hosp around the clock.

we are just now waiting for either her body to just stop which has started i.e. kidney failure has begun, one lung collapsed etc.... or waiting when the ventalator can be removed


so sorry i can't give your time now to the thread but will when we have finalized things with my mother and i return home

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I thought something might be wrong when you didnt post for so long. I thought you might be ill.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your mom.

You have a rough time ahead, wish I could help you some how.
Be sure and take care of yourself, we dont want you getting ill during this time too.
