Early request for buying a few extra points

I know I am thinking ahead, but we are in the early stages of planning a trip to the World to coincide with my parents' Golden anniversary. They think that we will all be staying off-site in a villa, which will be true for most of the time, but we would like to surprise them and move us all in to the GF for two nights over the actual anniversary. I have enough points for this (we will need three rooms) except for 4 points!! Do you all think that there is anybody out there who would be willing to sell and transfer these 4 points? I am a relatively new DVCer and have never looked at buying/transfering points before. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

We are having this problem with our forthcoming vacation in that the friends we are taking with us asked if they could come out a day earlier. This meant that we were 6 points short.

I looked into trying to get a transfer from another member and whlst it is possible and you may get lucky. Members can only make one transfer per year so to transfer such a small amount of points isn't really worth it. So instead we will have to ask our friends to book one night cash or rent points from another member and ask them to book a room for us. One night in a value studio is only 9 points so it is annoying being so close but yet unable to amke the booking.

I hope you are able to sort out your point problem. When do you plan to go? If we are able to rent one night successfully for our February trip then I will have a few spare points and would be happy to help if I can.
