Early part of May Park Hours

I just got off the phone with CRO, to check on the closing hours.
They are as follows, as I know through May 10th.

MK 9 - 7 May 10th 9 - 9
Epcot 9 -9
MGM 9 - 8:30
AK 9 - 5

Only E-night thay are showing right now is May 22nd.

Well this just sucks scissors! We're going the first week of May and we don't get any fireworks or spectromagic parade at MK. Or any E-night? Seems like they should put that week in value season if we aren't going to get any of the "good stuff" Sorry. just had to vent to someone. No one is home but me right now. LoL

What the heck. This really sucks. We are going the first week in May 2-10. No fireworks, spectromagic. I agree with Disneyfreaks. They tell us not to change our vacation plans because of the war, so we dont and we still get nothing extra from Disney. I hope these plans change before we get to Disney. I am one very dissappointed Disney fan right now. Let's hope the hours change and they add some fireworks or spectro.

I just can't believe there is not one single night of fireworks when we will be a WDW!!!

We are staying at the Poly, concierge lagoon view and one of the biggest things we were looking forward to was the fireworks from our patio and while laying in a hammock on the beach!!

I've talked and talked about this to my dh and kids. Now I have to break the news to them.

I know, I know there will be many more magical memories...but it's gonna take a while to get over this disappointment!!

If I read the OP's comments right, MK is open on 5/10 until 9:00. I'm sure they will have fireworks that night & most likely Spectro too. That's normal for May. Every year we've gone for the past 10-12 years, fireworks & Spectro have only been on Saturday nights.


Ooops....I get it now. It looks like no fireworks/spectro for May 3! I guess that's what people are upset about. I personally think that's an error and that MK will have it's normal Saturday night schedule, meaning fireworks & Spectro that night. Has the MK ever cancelled fireworks & Spectro for a SATURDAY night?

From what I have heard may 2 and 3 {friday and saturday} are scheduled to be Grad Nights so no parade or fireworks. I figured they would have them on Sunday or at least one weekday evening. The next saturday {may 10} we will be on our way home to Ohio. Does anyone know who we could write to or call to voice our feelings about this? I am so upset I am shaking. My daughter and son in law will be on their honeymoon and all she has talked to him about is that beautiful parade.

Hi Punkin, there will be FIS fireworks on the 10th, but no Spectro is showing for the whole month of May.

LOVELY (NOT). This really bites the big one! However, given the amount of times they tweaked the April hours I still have hope of a last minute spectro being added. An e-night in early May wouldn't be too shabby either. I'm the eternal optimist.

I just called CRO for park hours the week of May 17-24 and was told "I'm sorry sir, we don't have this information yet." Did I call the wrong place? I called 407-WDISNEY. Should I have called a different #, or did I get a misinformed CM?

Those who are going to WDW the first week of May don't give up yet. Last year they added Spectro and Fireworks at the last minute on the first Sunday (because of grad nights on Fri and Sat). I am crossing my fingers for this because we will be there too!

Thanks for telling us this LAWalz23! That makes me feel a little bit better and more hopeful. The first weekend in May is the only one we will have. The next saturday we'll be on our way home. {sob} {keeping fingers crossed til they turn blue! LoL}
