Early or late bkfst at Chef Mickey's?

I'm trying to decide whether to schedule our Chef Mickey breakfast before MK opens or go later for brunch - about 11am or so. Since they don't serve lunch, how long will they keep putting out fresh food? I don't want to feel like we've gotten the leftovers. Also, how long will the characters stick around? TIA

Back in March of 09 we had a late breakfast there, the place was packed, fresh food was constantly being brought out from the kitchen and the characters were making the rounds well after we left at almost 11:30am

We had the earliest reservation time there once and it was a FANTASTIC experience. Mickey walked my daughter by the hand to our table! Chip & Dale sat with us at our table on multiple occasions throughout our breakfast, minnie and pluto got our girls out into the aisle to dance and twirl their napkins.

I can't say enough about it! Since that time it's the only MUST restaurant we have on our itinerary!

The only thing that was tricky was getting there that early but that was because we were not prepared for what time we'd have to get started to get there by 7.
