Early November or Late January trip?

Hi there,

Well, I'm posting this thread as I hope to get some insight after much digging around. Me and my then husband will be off to WDW from the UK (we are hoping 2017). We have no children (as of yet) so it would be an adults only trip. We could either go beginning of November or Mid/Late January, both for two weeks.

What could be better for us as adults? What would you pick? I hear both are good times to visit seeing as there isn't really a quiet period as such any more. Let me know your thoughts! We also would likely be staying at a value too.

Early November! There will likely be better (warmer) weather and you can go to the Food and Wine Festival!!

We have always loved November, but it looks like this November is going to be very busy. If you are looking for lower crowds, try the week following Thanksgiving, or even a week later. You would miss the Food and Wine Festival, but I would sacrifice that for elbow room and shorter lines in the parks. I am a sucker for all things Christmas + Disney, so January would be pretty flat, comparatively..and it is also a heavy rehab time of year.

In late November and early December, it is the short lull between 2 big holidays and things are in full swing for the season!

I would suggest November for the reasons other people have mentioned above. I would also add that this is the last year for the Osborne Lights so you should also take advantage of that.

While I'd love to see the Osborne Lights, this trip is for 2017 not this year.
