Early morning transportation?

We will be staying off site the week after Christmas at Summer Bay. Although Summer Bay has transportation to all of the Disney parks, the times are limited. I was hoping to take their 7:30am shuttle that goes to Epcot each morning and then take a bus from Epcot to whichever park we plan on going to.

Has anyonen ever done this? Do the buses go from park to park that early in the morning? I really don't want to go from Epcot to the TTC to Animal Kingdom (for example) because it will take me over an hour just to get where I want.

Wondering if I am better off getting a taxi...except that there are 7 people in my party and we've tried the taxi thing before and it was a nightmare. Not many taxi vans and they never wanted to come get us and we ended up waiting forever for them.

Any suggestions?

The park to park transportation tends to be less frequent early in the morning. If you plan accordingly, your plan will work. It won't be quick though.

Honestly, I would never consider staying off property and not renting a car. With 7 people I'd get a van or SUV but I would not rely on anyone but myself for transportation if I'm not staying on property.

For what you will end up spending on taxis you might as well rent a car. I agree with GreatLakes, no way on this earth would I stay off site without a car. And that goes double during the busiest time of the year!
