When I made my daughters' 8:10 BBB reservations for our June trip, the cast member mentioned that the buses don't start running to the parks until 1 hour prior to opening. MK opens at 9 that day.

Will we be able to use bus transportation from POP to MK for their appointments?

Thanks!

last year when we stayed in the BC we just got a cab to the contemporary (don't ask for MK as they will drop you at TTC) to save any worry / hassle.

Every trip we book an 8:00am ADR at Crystal Palace in the MK on a day when the park doesn't open until 9:00am. We are ALWAYS at the bus stop (POFQ) just a few minutes before 7:00am and are usually at the MK between 7:20-7:40am. If you are worried about it, go to the front desk of your resort the night before and ask them, but we've never had any difficulties getting a bus at this time. They will let you in the MK maybe 7:45/7:50am for your 8:10am appointment. You can then get a few pictures on Main Street (with very few people around) and enjoy the walk to BBB. pixiedust: A magical feeling getting in MK before park opens!!!

Phone CMs are a huge source of misinformation.

Buses start at 6:30 every morning.

The hotel people may be wrong too. Poly told us the wrong thing. Just go wait at the stop. It will be there early, ~6:30am.

When we were there last year I was told the buses started at 7:00...that was in April so in June they may start a little earlier.

As said above, 6:30 is normal start time, earlier if Magic Kingdom has a 7 AM emh.

Yes, the buses do start running, from resorts, to parks, by 6:30am, every day. BUT...they do not run quite as often as the regular (1 hr prior to park opening) buses do. If you get to the bus stop, just as the bus you wanted is driving away, you could wait 20+ mins for the next one. So, plan accordingly.

Yes.:)

Resort buses start early because of Character Breakfasts.:)

Here is some "research" I did at All-Star Sports to see exactly when the first bus to each Park arrived.:)

Just keep in mind, this is just a "snapshot" of one particular Resort on two particular mornings.:)

Also, be leery of bad info from the bus drivers too. In July, one had the nerve to tell us that there wasn't a bus from Poly to MK. This was a Poly bus driver. Normally there isn't one; however, the monorail was on reduced schedule and this was before RD. So they added buses for the mornings. He said that the monorail was running. It clearly was not:(

Buses start running at 6:30am because of breakfast ADR's in and out of the parks. You will have no problem! It is actually easier to get a bus that early since there is not a lot of people waiting at the bus stop and the buses are usually there waiting (at least that has been my experience). :thumbsup2
