I have never stayed on site. I assume early morning guests were the reason why the Fast Pass line at Radiator Springs was a mile long, seconds after rope drop, on my trip last month.

Do the on-site guests get early admission every day of their stay, alternating between the parks, like Magic Morning?

I have an AP, and travel with others using park hoppers. Unless I stay on site, I cannot get in early.

Correct. It's a perk of staying on-site to get that extra hour in whichever park is open early that day. You can also get that perk once by getting a 3 day or more ticket, but since you have an AP you wouldn't be needing to purchase that.

Also, DL early hour is onsite guests + MM guests. DCA early hour is only onsite guests. Just in case someone is onsite while friends w/a MM are offsite and want to do an early hour together. ;)
