Early Morning MK - how do you then get to MGM?

We are thinking of doing an early morning entry to the MK and after 1 hour then going to MGM for the day. So what is the quickest WDW means of transportation to go from the MK to MGM?

Two options

Walk over to the CR and take the MGM bus.

Take the monorail or boat to TCC and take the MGM bus.
