Early Morning Magic cancellation

I made an EMM reservation for a friend as a gift for her family's June Disney trip. I paid for the reservation linked to their names and then she entered the confirmation data into her MDE. Due to the pandemic, they are rescheduling to March 2021. She has canceled the EMM reservation.
So....what happens to the refund? Will it come back to the original form of payment?

Have all EMM been cancelled? It still shows it in MDE for opening day on the 11th which seems odd.
