Early Morning Arrival - do the Magic Bands know?

Hi!

We're Disneyland veterans, going to WDW for our 1st time at the end of this month! So we got our custom Magic Bands in the mail, and we had a few questions.

1. We fly in at 6:30 am from Seattle, and we know we can't get into our room until ~3 pm. We'd like to get breakfast (meal plan) and go into the parks when they open. So basically, does anyone know if the Bands are already programmed with our tickets/plan on it and we can go straight to breakfast or into a park before checking in? OR must we go straight to our hotel to activate them or something at the front desk to check in but not get our room yet?

2. We're not checking baggage, can we still get our luggage delivered to our room? Is the room delivery thing just something that happens at the bus or does it go straight from plane to room? Aka, we'd have to go to our hotel first to put our bags with the valet or whoever keeps them.

Basically, should we be delivered to our hotel first or can we be dropped off at wherever we want to eat breakfast?

Your room may or may not be ready.
No way to know.
You can check in very early at the resort, however, then
return later that day and go to your room.

1. The TICKETS linked to the bands will get you into the park.
BUT, I don't think your dining plan will be activated until you check in at the resort.
Take your bags to your resort, check-in and be on your way to the park
after that.

2. I have to assume you are taking "carry-on" bags.
You need to take them with you. You can give them to your resort's
bell services and they will store and deliver the bags to your room
when it is ready.

Are you taking Magical Express? It will take you directly to the hotel where your reservations are, not to any other hotel or park.

Thank you! Yes, we always take 1 carry-on suitcase and 1 duffel bag each. Yes that would make sense about the dining plan thing as dining is linked to hotel stay; and since the bands are such a new thing you can only know the answer if you know the answer. And I don't know much about how they program the RFID's.

And yes Prose we're taking the Magical Express. I assumed we could be dropped off wherever we requested. Thanks for saying, In DL it's different. This is why I come here and ask the people that know!
