Early Morning ADR's

I was online at exactly 2:00am central time just now and my 90 + 10 opened. The "rumor" about the online opening at 3:00am Eastern is true. Booked everything I wanted within about 20 mins of my wanted times.
I had one problem, however. I wanted CRT on 12/15 at 4:30pm for 2 guests. I couldn't get anything at any time within 2 days of that time.
Just as a search, I put in the same time and date for 3 guests and it came up. I booked it and payed for 3 guests with my credit card. Now, do you think I can call in and talk to a dining CM and change the ADR to 2 guests with a credit for the cancelled 1 or should I wait til I am in the World and cancel 1 guest, 24 hours in advance.

Well, it is 5:12 am eastern time and I was just through the on-line process all the way to check-out then got the message that the system is not open now and to call back later. I'm trying to find an alternative to one ADR.

I am wondering if this will work on Oct 27th when it goes back to 180 days.... I think I will be up at 3am to try it....

Well, I called to book my CP dinner pkg @ 6:00am Central and got a CM immediatly. Didn't get Le Cellier like I wanted but took Chefs de France. I'll keep calling for Le Cellier though. Also, I got the most Awesome CM, Rita! I had her confirm all of my online ressies and asked her to check my CRT for 3 and see if she could change it to 2 guests. She came back and said "Yes" and credited my Credit Card with the balance. Talk about Disney Magic!

Warning: you may be charged for your third person no show. This spring I wanted to book Norway for the 6 of us. There was a possibility that my 15 yo grandson may (or may not) want to go. So when booking I asked the CM if I could book it for 7 and if I only showed up with 6 would I be charged the no show fee and she said YES. If it shows 7 people I will be charged a $10 fee for everyone that does not show up. She said I could book 7, and if I wanted to change it, I could only cancel and TRY to rebook. I booked 6 and grandson went to EPCOT by himself.

This seem to be the same policy for the candlelight processional. But in this case I was told I would be charged the FULL amount if anyone in my party does not show up.

I suggest you call and try to straighten it out now while you have a choice, unless you are willing to accept paying the no show for your third person.

Sadly, you will not be alone. I get up for work at 3:30AM, so I'll get up earlier. Unlike most of you, I'll be heading to work afterwards and you guys will be climbing back into bed!!

I will be booking my March visit and my 2 weeks May visit. I plan to just go for the hard to get ones then backfill. I fear it will be ugly.

It wasn't too bad. After I made my ADR's online @ 2:00am Central, I stayed up all night so I was on the phone immediatly @ 6am Central for my CP dinner pkg. ADR. I was soo hyped after getting almost everything I wanted within 20 mins of my needs, that I couldn't sleep. I just pretended I was still in college ( a lot of years ago, BTW ) and that I was doing an allnighter!!!

The only problem is this my time is a Saturday. The only day I don't have to get up at 5:30 am . But it's for a good Disney cause so I'll be up.

I think the 180 days out will be easier. Fewer people know what they want, or even have a trip planned right now at 180 days out.

I agree. Often the hours are not out and since I could care less about the hours, I have no problem booking my favorite dining places. I work my park visits around my dining spots. My 180+10 day is Oct. 27!!, but I will work on my March trip first since those dates are open to all and my late April trip is only open to those with reservations, so my odds are a little better for that trip.
