Is it possible to get from the WL to MK for an 8:05 ADR at Crystal Palace?

Yes it's possible. If you want to get there as fast as possible take the bus which goes directly to the Magic Kingdom because they start operating at 6:30 AM and since the Wilderness Lodge is located very close to the Magic Kingdom, it shouldn't be a long wait for the bus.

What about the boat service? I have the same concern-- our adr being around the same time. Do the boats run early too? We will have our own car but I figured this would definitely be the one park that we wouldn't have to drive to because of the boats. Do you think it would be quicker to drive ourselves since we have our own car?

Boat service from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom starts operating 1/2 hour before the Magic Kingdom opens, however I personally think taking the bus would be a lot faster.

Also if your staying at the Wilderness Lodge it doesn't make sense to drive to the Magic Kingdom, because you need to go all the way around just to park at the TTC and it could take 30 minutes or more when you factor in driving there, getting on the tram and then taking the Express Monorail or boat to the Magic Kingdom.

8:05am at Crystal Palace with MK opening at 9:00am on Monday. We went to the bus stop at 7:15 to watch the MK bus just pulling away. The next one came at 7:48. We saw 5 AK, 6 HS and tons of Epcot buses while we waite(and the crowd built).

In hindsight, I would have taken the boat over to the Contemporary at 7:15and just walked to MK - or transferred to the monorail (or just waited for the boat directly to MK). We were obviously late for our reservation, but had no problems getting our table quickly.

This past week the Epcot buses to the park were running quickly. MK - not so much, but the boats were great (about every ten minutes).

(One morning we had to be at the Grand Floridian at 8:15 - we took the Contemporary boat and transferred onto the Monorail without any problems.)

Yes! It is VERY possible! We did just this very thing this past January! The bus really is the quickest way to go. It seriously only takes 5 minutes! We caught the bus at about 730am and were at the character breakfast turnstiles waiting to get in by 740! We were able to have a leisurely walk down main st and take some Castle pics before going and checking in at 755!

So it sounds like we need to plan to be at the bus stop around 7? This is going to be great trying to convince the family!!!

Another question, I think someone mentioned this before. But does the front desk have any type of schedule for when the buses will arrive in the morning? Could I ask them the night before? Are they any help/reliable on bus info? I mean I don't want to arrive at the bus stop at 7 when I could have waited til closer to 7:30 and slept in a little longer...

Yes if your at the Wilderness Lodge bus stop at 7:00 AM that should give you enough time and the front desk doesn't really have schedule, because the buses are to arrive every 20 minutes.

The front desk is not a good place to get any bus info. They really have no clue as to how it works. The buses do not run on any real schedule....if one is pulling away as you walk up (between 6:30 and 8) you may have to wait up to 20 or so mins for the next bus.
If you don't want to rely on the buses, you can always take a cab.
