I'm sure this has been asked multiple times, but I did a quick search and couldn't find what I was looking for. And I'm not sure if this is even the right forum... but I'm hoping to book some early ADRs for my upcoming trip and was thinking that Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House and the breakfast at Akershus would be nice. I'd really like to make the ADRs for before the parks open. We are staying at Pop Century - how early do the buses start to get you to the parks before they open? Has anyone ever had a problem with making it on time??

The park buses start an hour before park opening, which would be 8am; but I heard that special early ADR buses start at 6:45am. I would check with a CM at Pop Century the day before and let them know what time you have your ADR for and where. I'm sure they will be able to let you know what you ned to do. (That is what I will be doing.)

Does WDW have Bus Transportation for Early Character Breakfasts?

Buses for the Magic Kingdom and Magic Kingdom Resort Area will start running at 6:30am DAILY.

Buses for Animal Kingdom/Animal Kingdom Lodge will start running at 7:00-7:15am DAILY.

Buses for the Disney's Hollywood Studios (covering the Epcot Resort Area) will start running at 7:00-7:15am DAILY.

Buses for Epcot (Princess Breakfast at Norway) will start running at 7:00-7:15am DAILY.

This information is valid EVERY DAY, and for ALL DISNEY RESORTS serviced by Bus transportation.

These buses are for Breakfasts only, and should not be used for general park access. Always let the driver know where you are going upon boarding the bus. Most times, the driver will be able to take you directly (ie: Contemporary, for Chef Mickey's) but sometimes this is not possible. As such, you should always allow time for a connection when going Resort to Resort. Actual arrival times will vary by location.

There are plenty of things that say busses/monorail/etc... start 1 hour before park opening, that isn't totally accurate. I've been on busses before 7 for 8:05 breakfast ADRs when the parks don't open until 9. The info Jducky posted is correct, you won't have problems getting a ride to the park that early. But the busses don't run quite as frequently that early, so make sure you are out there and ready to go. If you just miss a bus, you might wait a half hour instead of the usual 15 minutes or so.

I guess most places that post that info (about the 1 hour prior to park opening buses) don't specify that there are other earlier transportation for the early ADR people. :)
