Looking for the easiest way to get from Pop to Boardwalk for a breakfast ADR at Trattoria (it's at 7:30a). It's just me and my 3 year old. We're flying so no car nor car seat. I'm assuming an Uber with a car seat would be an option but IDK how I feel about using an unknown car seat. Any ideas/input?

Your only other option is to get to the bus stop by 6:30, take the first bus to DHS, and then walk to the boardwalk.

The fastest way would be a cab (I would feel safer with their car seat) or with Uber (cheaper than a cab, but car seat could be an issue). It's about a 5 min drive and not very pricey. That way you could leave about 7:10-7:15. Otherwise, bus to DHS and then walk to BW, but that will take time. And you'll have to walk with a toddler....certainly not fast!!!

I have to ask...why no car seat on the plane? I've always thought it was just easier with little ones to be seated in a familiar car seat vs sitting on the seat with a lap belt.

No OP, but we fly often and never with a car seat to Disney. It's just way to cumbersome for us. My kids have always been fine sitting in the regular plane seat and I can't imagine having to lug around a big car seat through the airport on top of everything else. At Disney, we always use ME and Disney transportation so it's much easier to leave the car seat behind.

I agree, that's what I would do. I was just curious as to why you wouldn't bring a car seat if you knew you were going to be using cabs.

Even if they had a car seat, the OP would have to take the car seat into the restaurant. Then if they're going to a park afterward, they'll have to get a locker to store it in. That would be a pain for anyone, but especially for a lone adult who's also trying to wrangle a 3 year old.

@KT0191, I totally share your concern about using a car seat in a cab or an Uber. I would be slightly more comfortable with one in a cab, but not much more. Unless you absolutely need to have breakfast here, I would cancel it.

I tend to agree. Trattoria al Forno is kind of a pain to get to any time of day, but especially by 7:30am. We're going through a similar situation right now for our August plans. We want to squeeze this breakfast in but the only time we can make it work logistically is mid-morning on our Epcot day.

Thank you all so much for the input! I really appreciate it. I've just decided that I'll be getting to the bus stop by 6:30, bus it over to DHS and then walk over to the Boardwalk. I don't mind the walking at all and my son will be in his stroller so he'll be fine.
My son is such a big Flynn Rider fan (his name is Ryder so he loves that lol). He talks about this breakfast a lot so I definitely don't want to cancel even tho it's a bit of a hassle for me. It will be worth it for him.

Yes- it's just me and lugging his car seat all around property by myself doesnt sound ideal haha.
