We are going in early May. We would like to do Soarin and Test Track but the day we want to go is an EMH for Epcot. We also want to go to MK. Should we go to MK when it opens at 9 and then go to Epcot in the afternoon and try to FP Soarin and TT? Or should we try and get there for EMH and do the two Epcot rides?

Thanks!
Marianne

You don't say if the Extra Magic Hours at Epcot for the day you wish to visit the park are morning or evening extra magic hours. If it's in the morning, I would be at Epcot about 30 minutes before opening, walk quickly to The Land, ride Soarin, get Fastpasses to ride Soarin again, walk over to the Test Track, break up my party if there's no young children in your party, use the single rider line for a couple of rides on the Test Track, walk back to The Land and ride Soarin using my fastpasses.

Then I'd go to the Magic Kingdom and do whatever it is y'all want to do there.

Enjoy.

Get to EPCOT for EMH!!!!! You will be able to walk on to everything as long as you get for opening. It will be well worth it! After your done you can take the monorail to the MK. You will love Soaring! Have fun.

Okay so what if I can't get the troops up and at the park for the EMH opening? What if we get there closer to 9? Are there going to be long lines? If we FP Soarin when is the return time likely to be?

What if we went to MK in the morning and Epcot in the afternoon? With Epcot being an EMH park will the FPs for Soarin be gone?

Thanks!

Marianne

Fast Passes for both Soarin' and Test Track normally run out in the early afternoon as both as really popular. If you can't get there for the start of the morning EMH there will be long lines when you do arrive. The FP return time may be many hours later.
Maybe you can go to Epcot on a morning when FW opens at 9am.
If there is an evening EMH for Epcot the Fast Pass machines are re-opened at the start of the EMH. However, I don't know if this is the case always or just in the busy season.

I agree with Karnak but MK gets very crowded as the day goes on. I might do MK first then go to Epcot. It's a hard thing to answer because as the day gets later at Epcot Test Track and Soarin fastpasses end early. I've heard that Fastpasses get honored even the next day - do you have a chance to go to Epcot the next day?

Single rider line at Test Track usually gets you on the ride a whole lot quicker. I don't know about Soaring - it seemed a long wait to me in August (but then it was August).

Good luck! I hope you're able to do both parks and ride the rides you want!!Remember, the Fastpass is your best friend...at least at Disney. :yay: Ely

EPCOT will be extra busy in the afternoon on an EMH day, The best thing to do is be there at opening then hop to a less crowded park or avoid the park entirely on EMH day. You would be better off getting there at opening on a regular day than going later on an EMH day.

The park may become unbearably crowded in the afternoon of an AM EMH day and yes they may run out of fastpasses. I can't stress enough...get there early!
