Early May...chance of extended park hours?

So, we will be at the parks May 1-4 this year. First time going at this time, so not sure what to expect. Right now park hours are closing anywhere from 8pm to 9pm. Nothing later and only one evening EMH at MK.

Is this typical or can we expect the lark hours to get extended a bit? Seems kind of odd, especially these Friday/Saturday hours, being so short.

Can't always rely on past performance to indicate future results, but FWIW last year that same Wed-Saturday had a mix of 10pm, 11pm & 12 AM MK closings, DHS was 9:30pm, DAK was 10 & 10:30 (DAK saw a string of longer hours during this time last year, may be an anomaly), Epcot is always 9pm except for F&W Fri & Saturdays, Christmas season, and special events.

I just looked and every park is showing 9 pm, with animal kingdom at 830. But yeah no guarantees but anything can change!

Last year in mid April it had the usual 9pm and 8:30 times and then a couple weeks beforehand they all got extended. This wasn’t prime spring break time or around Easter either. I’m hoping they get extended!
