Early March weather ???

What temperatures should we expect the first of March? Will we need jackets or sweatshirts at night? We are from Indiana so anything will probably be a major heat wave. Also how are crowds the first week of March?

There another thread nearby that's talking about temperatures toward the end of February, and from what is now available, the highs look like 70-74. My spring break is usually the 3rd week in March, and it's rarely been warm enough for any of us, (adults, not children) to spend more than just an hour or so at a pool.

Last year Epcot's Flower show began a bit later in March than it is this year, and they had to replant many of the flowers because of unexpected frost. I just can't believe that they are starting it even earlier this year.

I would definitely plan to wear sweatshirts at night!

Thanks! I will add sweatshirts to our packing list. I'm actually looking forward to the cooler temps. It will be quite the change from last August.

We've had low 80's during the day for the last two March trips we've taken to Disney. I pack for anything, though, just in case.

I always pack light jackets and at least one pair of pants for everyone for our March trips. Still seem to come home with new sweatshirts, anyway! (For me!) We seem to use them more than the spray bottle-fan that also gets packed for every trip. And at least as often as the ponchos....

We're going on March 6th. I'm counting on it being warm enough to swim!!! Last year, we went on March 20th and it was 65 overnight and in the high 70's to low 80's during the day.
