Early March/Late April to Early June??

I have been planning our next trip for January 2006 (21 - 30). My DH and SIL are concerned that we are going to be too cold to enjoy our trip. My son will be 5 during this trip and I was thinking it would be better to be a little chilly than have longer lines. However, I wanted to see what people thought about the crowds after Presidents week through early March and late April through early June (moderate crowd time). Any input would be great!!

I would think the lowest crowds during the weeks you mentioned would be the beginning of May through mid-May (at least before Memorial Day). I've been in early May and the crowds are not as low as they'd be at some times of the year but the weather is great.

I have 2 young kids and at least half the appeal of vacationing is going to the pool. I think they'd be VERY disappointed to go in a month where it was too cold to swim (at least too cold for ME to want to go swimming - LOL!). They'd be looking at that swimming pool with a sad face all week

We have gone two Decembers in a row and both times a cold front has followed us down from the north. Granted, it was warmer at WDW than at home, but we were still disappointed we had to wear gloves and big coats. My kids love to swim and we did have a few days were we could go swimming in the afternoon, but the days it was too cold to swim, they were very disappointed. The pools are heated but IMO they could be heated to a higher temperature. I guess you have to figure what is more important...... guarenteed nice weather... or shorter lines.

Thanks for the information so far!! I hate trying to decide! My son definitely likes the water. The dates I have narrowed it down to are (all 2006):

Jan. 21 - 30
Feb. 25 - March 6 (still may be a chance of being cold I guess)
April 29 - May 8

I don't want to be really hot either, plus my son is very fair skinned. Decisions Decision.
