Early Magic Morning

We are planning on using our Early Magic Morning to do a lot of the rides in Fantasy Land. When the park opens we would like to make our way over to Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, etc..... Is the Adventureland entrance the only route to get there in the morning, or is there a back route from Fantasy Land? It looks like there maybe a back route looking at the park map, but I'm not sure if this is open.

I assume you that when you say "when the park opens" you mean after MM? Right. Because those rides are not open during MM.

And the answer is "yes", use Big Thunder Trail if you are in FantasyLand when MM finishes and you want to get to Advenureland, NOS and Frontierland.

The Thunder Mtn Trail would be your best route. It will take you directly to Big Thunder. It is also a very nice walk in the uncrowded morning.

As long as you head over around park open, your route doesn’t really matter. Although some people will head that way, it won’t be a mass exodus of people going there. Most people will be going to FL & TL at park open. So, you should be just fine regardless of which route you go.

the beauty of entering adventureland is that it is relatively empty at gates open when rope is dropped to enter the west end of Disneyland, it will be the only time that pathway is not blocked with crowds of bunches of folks in the very narrow walkway. Also you can focus on the jungle music better, for me it seems to be the only time, other than riding Chickapin in the morning, that I feel like I am alone at Disneyland, strolling thru the Adventureland bazaar as I head on down to Critter Country
