Early Magic Morning with terrible weather?

When I read the information when booking it indicated you had to cancel within one day like any other dining. Clearly 7DMT is the draw for this event, if that is down I would definitely push for a refund. They are advertising the 3 rides being available for this morning.

As far as other events, such as MNSSHP, you take your chances. We had this booked for 10 of us last October and the day was a complete rain out. Most of the group managed to stay for the first parade, which didn't include the headless horseman due to weather, and then gave up before the fireworks. I would not expect compensation for this, there is plenty open and they did have the fireworks.

They would be hearing from me too if I did this and 7DMT was down.

And while they probably didn't do refunds on MNSSHP just because the Headless Horseman didn't ride, but if the parade was completely cancelled, they probably would.

That's just it you never know when the weather will be bad. It usually rains and storms after 3:00 at Disney but you never know. I would say in the morning you have a good chance of no storms unless there is a hurricane then you would have winds and rain coming through all day.

I suspect they'd offer a FP for riding later in the day, if and when the ride reopens. Or maybe they'll open It's A Small World as a substitute.

As for weather, I can only see refunds offered if for some reason it makes it impossible to open the parks early that day.
I agree with the extra fp. They'd probably even offer 2 or 3 extra anytime fp's if a ride is down to make people happy. It doesn't cost Disney a thing to appease the masses. They don't want people asking for a refund.

Except, in this case, 1/3 of the rides you're paying for may not actually be available - i.e. 7DMT.

If they cancel the fireworks due to weather, none of the Dessert Parties are cancelled, they go on with no refunds. That is a major loss to value.

Early Morning Magic would only have 7DMT affected if it got bad. Breakfast, Pooh and Peter would be open. I could see them backing it up with Under the Sea plus a FP+ ticket for later.

Website:
  • The number of tickets for these events is limited. In addition, all tickets are non-refundable, non-transferrable and are only valid for admission during the special event date and hours.

They also clearly state on the webpage for this event:
  • All attractions, entertainment and experiences are subject to change without notice.

Surely booking the early morning magic you take your chances too? Seeing as the park is still open and you are in there early? People pay good money for both and run the risk of having their expectations and experiences changed. When it says non-refundable it is what it is.

That would stink if you paid all that money and didn't get to ride Mine Train

Just like when you pay for a fireworks dessert party mainly to have a good, uncrowded spot to watch fireworks and then they cancel the fireworks. It's the risk you take.
