Early Magic Hours

When does Disney announce which parks have early admitance? I'm trying to plan which park on which day of our trip in August and can't find any info on it.

I've read a few posts that suggest avoiding those parks unless you are going for the early hour. Has anyone tried doing the first hour at that park and then going elsewhere?

EMH is as follows:

MK: Thurs and Sun
EPCOT: Wed
MGM: Tues and Sat
AK: Mon and Fri

I am not understanding the rest of your question. If you are staying at a WDW resort, use EMH at the MK and AK- and maybe MGM and EPCOT depending on your riding preferences. MK and AK for sure, though. Stay at that park until lunch time, then get the heck outta' Dodge

If you cannot do the EMH because you are offsite, avoid that park totally on it's EMH day. Hope this helps

you understood perfectly- we are on-site and will take your advice - get in and get out!

Now if I can just explain that to the kids and the DH and my parents!
