We have a trip booked to Disney World for the first part of June. What is the weather like during that time and how crowded is it during that time?

Hi, In 2007 we went the second week of June and the crowds were moderate. Some rides did have 60 minute waits. The weather was really good. No rain. It was in the high 80's to low 90's during the day. We are from Louisiana, so we are use to the heat. This year we are going from May 30-June 6 and we are hoping for the same beautiful weather. Have a great trip!!:goodvibes

:welcome:

to the boards!!

Will be there fr June14-22, been told to expect humid wet and crowds, but what the heck its in DISNEY!!!

Be prepared for it to rain quite a bit. Our first 10 trips to WDW were during the last week of May through the first week of June and there was only one trip where it only rained once. Sometimes, it will be showers that are short and sweet. Other times, it will be a thunderstorm but they usually don't last all day. Take a rain poncho with you and keep park touring. Only the attractions that are outdoors will close down. The others will keep on running like normal.

The temperature will be pretty hot. But, we handle it well because we are from Louisiana and our June temps are already nearing 100.

By mid-afternoon, you'll see wait times for the major attractions reaching a pretty long wait period. I've seen them be 120 minutes or more for Soarin', Test Track, Splace Mountain. But, take full advantage of Fastpass and you'll be fine and dandy. Also, see all that you can as early as possible.

Hi fellow Louisiana resident! Notice I said in my reply below that we are from Louisiana so the June heat is nothing for us.:rotfl: :rotfl:

That was out plan as the last trip to WDW was in AUG and it did rain everyday, sometime light and other times very heavy. I looked online at the past weather in WDW and it was listed as 30-70% chance of rain everyday we are going to be there, so it looks like we will have some rain, oh well.....

We went to Disney this past August. It was our first trip to WDW that time of year. It was just about the same as our May/June trips. Like I said, don't let rain stop you!

I planned our trip for the first week in June also. If you don't already know, the first week in June is gay pride week in Orlando. They come from all over the country to celebrate, just my luck. Gay day is June 6th at WDW. I didn't find out about it untill it was too late. I don't know if you care or not, just thought you should know since DW does not tell anyone about it.

We are used to warm weather where we live also. Hopefully that won't be too much of a problem.

It's really not a big deal. We've been there a couple of times during this week and we saw nothing out of the ordinary. I always wonder what people think they are going to experience when they mention it is "gay" week...

Some of my friends did a trip last year, first week of June. They said that crowd is manageable and weather is good. So nothing to worry about it.

Have a nice and safe trip coming. :)
