Early January Trip

It would not make sense for you to drop Lightroom and shell out more $$$ for Bibble. Lightroom was not around when my decision was made and new extra funds will go to hardware instead of software.

I'm pleased to report that after a week or so of tearing my (few remaining) hairs out, I'm finally getting output from Lightroom that I'm happy with. I'm rather disgusted with myself that it was something so simple - at some point, Lightroom (either by default or by me accidentally changing it) was outputting in the AdobeRGB colorspace instead of sRGB, which results in dull and lifeless JPGs. I also did some minor tweaks to the camera calibration (punching up the reds and greens just a hair) and am getting output that is much more pleasing than before, and very similar to what I was getting from Silkypix and Bibble.

This is good news for me, as I was really frustrated but dreading the idea of dropping Lightroom, and I have hundreds and hundreds of photos that I can finally process now that I'm feeling better about how they'll look when I'm done. :)

Sorry for the off-topic reply, just wanted to put in an update about my ACR issues.
