Hubby and I just got back from Disneyland resort for a delayed honeymoon. We enjoyed it a lot, but really missed WDW.

Our 1 year anniversary is December 9 so we are planning on a short trip to WL December 9-13.

Neither of us, in all our visits, have been in early December. What is weather like (I know crap shoot---we had 90 degrees last week at DLR!!), when is the pop warner thing, and finally, what are the general crowds like?

Thanks in advance!

Oh, and btw, after using the old Fastpass system at DLR, I realized I don't really miss it. I like the FP+ & magic bands. And I was one that really really loved the old fastpass system!

Our family's favorite time to visit is mid November to mid December and we'll be there again this year.....weather is nice (cool at night, warm in the day), crowds are manageable (though not as low as a few years ago)....holiday decor will be completely up by Dec 9 (even the big main tree at MK since the holiday parade is typically the first weekend) and all the special holiday events will be going....Osborne Lights in DHS, Storytellers/Holidays Around the World in EPCOT, special parades, special holiday foods.

Enjoy a wonderful holiday and anniversary !

Thanks! Splash Mountain is my favorite ride so I was hoping the weather would be warm enough for it.

Ditto! Weather can be ANYTHING from highs in the high 80's to the low 50's. Crowds seem to thicken each year and will increase each day you are there. This past December on the 9th, DHS headliners had wait times of 50-70 min at 11:00 am.
