Hey all, planning my first trip to Disneyland Paris. I'm a seasoned Walt Disney World traveler and DVC member but am stumped when it comes to figuring this out. I'll be flying in to Barcelona the morning of November 17 and have 3 nights/4 days until the rest of my group arrives, so I'm planning a side trip to Disneyland. I'm looking to get a flight out of Barcelona around noon-1pm. and will hope to be in Disneyland by around 4. Will use the first day of my ticket that evening just to get my feet wet, have a full day on the 18th, and then going with the flow on the 19th in terms of timing.

I am hoping to fly to Barcelona early on the 20th (landing by 11am ideally) since my friends land around that time and we will arrange a car ride to our apartment for the week together. It doesn't look like there are many options to get from Disneyland to CDG very early in the morning, so I"m trying to decide whether I get an airport hotel near CDG or if I do a car share from Disneyland early in the AM on the 20th. I think I'd feel more comfortable staying in CDG earlier but I understand the airport is not far at all from Disneyland property.

Long story short does anyone have experience with an early departure out of CDG and if so how would you recommend I go about it...figure out a ride the morning of my flight (very early) or just head to the airport maybe on the last high speed train of the night and get a room closer to there?

Thanks in advance for any feedback with this!

How about a split stay? Stay your first night in the DLP area and the on the 19th go to the airport after your park visit and have a hotel there?

The issue with an airport hotel is, whether you take a bus, train or car, it is not cheap. It would cost minimum about $20-25 per oneway. It can add up quickly.

Yes--this is what I was looking at and is seeming like the least stressful option. The train looks like it is about $75 round trip which is crazy to me for a 9 minute ride (even on a high speed train--I live in the NYC area myself, but I imagine the demand and people willing to pay is the reason for the price). I'd probably have more flexibility doing the split stay, just want to double check and see what other people have done for very early AM flights.

I would just take the train from Paris to Barcelona
I had looked up some options with this idea too. It would just put me in Barcelona late in the afternoon and kill that whole Sunday as a travel day when the rest of my group gets into the city around 10am so at that point I'd rather just take the earliest flight. I looked up the overnight train routes as another option/compromise as they get in at noon which is doable, but there are 2-3 transfers so a little less ideal. The option directly from Disneyland Paris train station also stops in Lyon for a 7 hour layover overnight vs. first needing a ticket to Paris and then beginning the 2-3 transfer trip. I'll keep an eye on this option though because it's considerably cheaper if I can find a way to make it work, but what I had found so far did not.

You are going to Barcelona Here is an idea for you

Forget Disney & Paris Go and visit the Formula 1 Theme park near Barcelona

Then take a Trip to The Principality of Andora a few hours away

You Will enjoy this trip & Less Stress

I have seen private transfers from Western Tours that don't seem to be too pricey...

We will be visiting Andorra on our trip actually.
And I wouldn't be posting here if Disneyland Paris was something not in the cards. Thank you for chiming in though. Not stressed, just want to plan effectively.
