I've been reading Kim Wiley's book "Universal with Kids". In it she describes Universal having an early hour open only to resort guests. This book is 2 years old so I am checking to see if this is still true. Anyone know?

No, they don't. but they do have front of the line access for their resort guests and that is much better. :D

I just got my Universal vacation Package. In it was a coupon allowing the family early entry into the park (1/2 hour) just to get easy and early access to the Mummy ride!

The early entry is part of a special package that you purchased. As for general early entry they use to have it but it has been stopped for about a year now maybe a little longer. If that book is a newer book they maybe need to look into visiting again and doing a re-write.
