early entry?

Hello, we have a trip planned to WDW at the end of August. We are going to head to USF&IoA for 1 day (I know, I know, more than 1 day is ideal, but it's not feasible for this trip). Any way, I was justing looking up ticket prices online via the Universal site. I cam across something that said if you purchase the tickets online via their site, you get early entry to certain parts of the park - like some Harry Potter areas. Is this correct? Or is there some catch? I was under the impression that only guests staying at certain Universal properties had this option.

Also... it doesn't show me tickets being available for sale for the day we plan to go yet. When will I be able to buy them? We plan on doing park-to-park tickets and the express pass (1 pass/ride).

i looked at the website and couldn't find that info on getting in early for the hotel early entry program.
Maybe it meant less wait in ticket lines and do kiosk ticket pick up so you can be at the entrance gate early???

Can you copy and paste what you read so I can figure this out if it would be EE set up.

End of August is not a busy period.
Park hours are adjusted the last few days of August.

Even if you only have one day for the parks, you can pack a lot of fun into it.

Oops! I read it with fresh eyes today!! It was for universal Hollywood, guests who purchase online receive free early entry to wizarding world of harry Potter. Oops!

I try to keep up on changes at universal but there are times things change and I'm a week behind everyone that already has the answer.
