Early Entry

Is the early entry only for IOA and not USO? If the posted time is 8am will early entry be at 7am? We are staying at PBH the week of July 4th? If we were doing DW we would leave early afternnoon and go back to the hotel and then return in the evening, is this still a good idea? Also what would be a good plan to do the first night if we get there aound 4-6 pm? TIA

it is temporarily also available for the Spiderman ride at ioa.

use the water taxi and save your feet for the parks.

coming back from the park when it is dark on the water taxi, you will see the hotel all lit up.
it is beautiful to see!

yes, and with the hotels so close it makes it so much easier to do. We usually get to the parks at opening or for early entry and then hang out until around lunch and then go back to the hotel. Go swimming and have naps, for both kids and adults ) and then head back to the park in the late afternoon until around dinner time.

Also what would be a good plan to do the first night if we get there aound 4-6 pm

The first night, if you don't want to go to the park then head over to Citywalk and have a nice dinner or just hang out. They have the new mini golf and lots of neat bars/resturants. Also, PBH has a great pool and they do the pool side movies as well so that could be an option for later in the evening.


If you want to go to the park, WWOHP is pretty nice at night. The lights on the castle and in the town are pretty amazing

Don't think I can talk DS14 and DD11 into playing mini golf when there are rides so close. Plus the kids don't know we are doing US and IOA. Just showed them the hotel and that we were not doing DW.

Every time we drove to or from Portofino last trip (while on our way to the store or Sweet Tomatoes, or the morning of our flight home), before the mini golf place was even open or finished, we all groaned at how stinkin' COOL it looked, and how much we wished we were there a couple weeks later so we could play there.

You might be surprised.
